'Pac's not the great lyrist. That's like say Barry Bonds is not a great home run hitter. Early 'Pac, not really, as he wrote for more emotions and content. Death Row 'Pac, that muthaphukka was raw lyrically, and Makaveli, All Eyez On Me proved it. Like early Barry Bond, get all around game, but not a home run hitter, 'Pac had the flow, charisma, and content, but the big hitting lyrics weren't there. After signing with Death Row, that muthaphukka was hitting. Listen to Got My Mind Made Up, Blasphemy, Against All Odds, Bomb First, No More Pain, Ambitionz Az a Ridah, Me and My Girlfriend (which a gun for a girl was jus straight classic then). Just 'cause 'Pac wasn't throwing out blind lyricals like most emcees, doesn't mean he ain't got lyricals. He actually used lyricals to make a song with content, added to his game the same way Barry added more home run power to add to his already great game. So don't trip if you ain't feeling 'Pac, his better than Snoop.

I said he's not the BEST, means he's definatly not the best ever. It doesn't mean he's not good.
So if it was only about Lyrics pac can't be the GOAT like u or many others consider him since there still betta lyricists.

But it's NOT only about lyrics and that's why Snoop can be betta than Pac even when Pac's lyrics are betta.

it ain't about pac betta lyricist period shit.... it depend what u feel about lyrics, if u like methaphors, sure u gonna prefer pac, but if u like the double end rhymes like snoop do  u gonna prefer snoop over pac, pac can have some great methaphor but if people can't understand them , whats the deal, cause he's call pac , he's the greatest for most of ya'll without question, that ain't no good psycology
snoop dogg - "i don't fuck with the pocus everybody
knows this , i fuck with the chronic cause the chronic
gives me dopeness"

- Look here bitch you're fine and i dig your style...-

Oh, and in snoop's defense, he's twice as good at lyricism as he was on Doggystyle, today.  Listen to "We Gon Handle It" from that leaked stuff from paid the cost, he's rapping about kids growing up in the ghetto... listen to that Love song he made for his wife, where he's telling stories about how they met and has Janet Jackson sampled onto the hook, listen to the story he tells about that girl wanting to make a porno in "It's the D.O.G." ... he's really really steppin up his lyrical game, and he still remains one of the best storytelling rappers around.
