You know boxing, and Cotto is SO much more marketable then Clottey. A Cotto loss would have been devistating to his career. But watching the fight, Clottey controlled the fight for the most part. Only that flash knock down hurt him on the score cards, and the two rounds after he twisted slowed him a bit, and the 12th round. But I see Clottey winning at least 7 rounds, maybe 8. He was the aggressor the entire fight, and a lot of times judges give the nod to the guy pushing the fight in a close fight. Except this one.
The 6th round said it all, Cotto went all out and didn't even hurt Clottey. Clottey just used that round to rest on the ropes, then Round 7 came along and Clottey was amazing.

Clottey wasent robbedi gave Cotto some rounds because even with his cut he still was able to out box Clotteywe just witnessed a great new cottokinda the same style but with a way better boxing technique i could see how maybe Clottey won in some eyes because some of the rounds were hard to decide i think in the 7th or 8th Clottey landed the best punch of the fight with that straight right hand and Cotto was hurt for a minute but Cotto boxed his way back into the gameit really came down to the final 3 rounds which Cotto clearly won (except the 11th) and that was really the deciding factor of the fighta rematch would be nice but not necessaryCotto is gonna have more and bigger paydays thanks to this fightand Clottey is gonna be ducked even more
Dude your crazyCotto was way more active and pushed the fight and also had Clottey on the ropes on the Defensive alotive kept up with both boxers and their fightswatching Cotto looked like he got better Clottey looked a bit worse in this fight and thats a first for him he actually had someone as strong as himgreat fight, hard to decidewhat good boxing really is
you have a point but Clottey wasent robbedi thought if he didnt get dropped it prolly would of been a draw
