Great just like I expected!  Depp nailed it, I am not sure if there is anyone right now as good as Depp is.  The acting was on point all the way around and the movie was done very well.  Aft my first viewing I give this between a 8.5-9.0 out of 10 and that is likely to go up once I see this again.  Great movie!

Yeah dude, I loved this movie too. Michael Mann's direction is on point, the cinematography is fucking ridiculous, the pace of it was perfect, the acting is top notch, an all around great film.

It was actually kind of a let down for me. It's not I have anything bad to say about it. I can't think of much. It's that I also can't think of much that really moved me or made me say wow. Though I didn't get why the film grain changed half way through the film and I don't like how they ingored much of the era these people lived in and the reasons for popularity. WhenI heard Public Enemies in the title I thought maybe it was more widespread among the public enemies of the Great Depression. Instead it was mainly about Dillinger and his girlfriend. Which is fine I guess, but I was never really drawn into the love story either.


I guess in the end it was a decent film, but I was expecting a masterpiece.

but i am dying to see this, looks amazing.

how was Christian Bale? he either does a good job acting or is like "how did you get into acting?" lol.

I am not a huge fan of Bale but he did a real good job in this movie.

ohh wow, in one New York newspaper it got a 3/5 & another paper gave it a 1/5 ( :o).

another website i checked gave it a 3/5; but i never listened to the critics anyway, they're always wrong. ;D

^i know, but critics like to give reviews like that because it gives them some attention; but they still lose because they look like morons when everybody says they love it.

it looks like the kind of movie i'll love, like a Bonnie & Clyde with some Road To Perdition. ;) 8)

plus Depp can act his ass off!

anyway i gotta see this movie. michael mann is a great director. i love all his movies.

I loved this film, I thot it was amazing, The 2 1/2 hrs went by fast as fuck for me. This is one of the few movies Ive seen that kept my attention throughout. Depp was incredible in this movie, dude always delivers. Bale was dope, one of my favorite actors today. Who else felt like robbing some banks while watching this? lol
