I lost interest in crooked I awhile ago.  He puts out some good music, but he is pretty overrated by this forum.

Waiting for a Dre album > Waiting for a Crooked I album. And the main reason is I know Dre's album is going to be good musically. Crooked's on the other hand may have some tight raps but his beats suck ass. As will Slaughterhouse's beats. But even then I've lost interest in Dre just like I have in Crooked I

i understand your point, i agree i am anticiapting Dre's album more than Crooked's, but who isn't? new BANGIN' Dre beats, some amazing features & fuckin' Dre!

however, i disagree Crooked's album (if he drops one) will suffer from "wack beats". working with Slaughterhouse is opening up so many doors for him, introducing him to new producers & such. if he ever makes an album, i HIGHLY doubt it suffers from beats, or at least not to the point where it's like "wow, that's just terrible".

plus, he is a lyricist, he can carry himself & an album with lyrics; even though West Coast Artists have to live up to the traditional, tearin' up bangin' West Coast Beats.

You have to agree though, Snoop is pretty good on the Choruses. Honestly If its a laid back vibe it be perfect, but if they should get anyone on the chorus, they need Nate Dogg lol

Also on the Dre album aspect. Honestly Detox might have good beats, but shitty rappers. He's working with 50 cent, Lil Wayne, pretty much a lot of people yet he doesn't take anything from BG Nocc out. Honestly Detox might full of mainstream rappers, which lets be honest are obsessed with Auto-Tune, Shitty Lyrics, and faggot Pop tracks up the ass. Only hope is that he either uses Bishop Lamont, or uses Hittman again or even Snoop Dogg.

As for Crooked I's album (If he ever drops 1, I mean I'm thinking it might be Witness The Realest all over again lol), Chances of its production being shit are pretty low. I mean Lots of West Coast Albums, even from the least heard artist usually yields good results on that front. I mean if he really wanted to ensure some good beats, he could Enlist Dr. Dre, Mel-Man, Daz, and Warren G (just names off the top of my head).

Lyrically it should be good, but Remember even with the best Producers/rappers you can still get sub-par albums. Until I hear a Official Single I'll let the shit be.
