why did game on higher track said look out for detox? and eminem on encore outro said, dont worry about that detox album its coming.. and, still,  the game put 2 more albums since that and eminem put  three albums too, greatest hits, re up and relapse..
its been  a long time, i remember when first time i read in papers that dre will make the last album and its gonna be called detox, and i was so happy, and yet again after couple of monther i was reading, dre will not an album, because he will focus on his new artist, mostly ,Eve..  She even didnt relase album on the math..
and again , couple months after that, dre said he will release album, but its been quite some time since that... maybe he want fans go crazy from anticipation and when its release it will be great banger.
we can only hope it will be released.

Didn't 2Pac create the 7 day theory in 3 DAYS!!! Dr Dre is talented, but he relies heavily on other peoples skills. Early Death Row it was Warren G, Daz, D.O.C, then to Sam Sneed/J.Flexx in his later days on that label.
Comparing Pac to Dre is pointless. Laying vocals and producing are two different things. And most producers rely on other people's talents. That's what producing is.

The lazy thing is just fed-up Dre fans who are sick of waiting on Detox venting their frustrations. The guy's been making music. Lazy would be if he just sat around and never went to the studio. Nearly everyone who has worked with Dre on Detox says he's been working his ass off. The Pac comment holds no water. Dre was all but done with Death Row by the time that Pac got over there and really stopped going to Can-Am all together. If you were talking about 1995-96 Dre, it would be a better argument against him being lazy as only about three or four tracks he did at that time came out but today? He just produced a whole album on Eminem. 50 has leaked a couple attempts at singles that he produced. Bishop put that song out he did. If he's just being lazy, how the fuck are these songs getting made?

Dre is never going to put detox out its all a buzz to build his label up and hype for his artists... i am tired of waiting for this shit its been mentioned since the documentary thats 4 years ago coming on 5 and in 03 he was was talking about it... what in the world can he be doing thats making him put off detox even more. Dude is a millionare works with great musicians has access to million dollar studios has a great engineer... i am not getting why its taking him this long.

it's probably a combination of both, I remember seeing somewhere that Stat Quo said Dre was scared to release any lil snippet of Detox or any leak because of what people might think. But I think it's also starting to become an excuse lately, I mean the Chronic probably took like 6-8 months to make.

A bit of both. People say he's a perfectionist, and make excuses as to why there is no Detox. Almost 10 years?? lol. Didn't 2Pac create the 7 day theory in 3 DAYS!!!

the 7 day theory was made in a week... hence the title the 7 Day Theory.

Perfectionist who is scared of failure.
The more he delays the more failure becomes a possibility. It's amazing that the amount of hype as remained high for so long (7 years?), but he is setting himself up for failure by making anticipation too high.

And I'd say it's 60% lazy, 40% perfectionist.

The album was completed in a week, but 2Pac wrote and recorded his lyrics in 3 days.

Relapse 1 & 2, Bishop's Album, 50 Cents' Album and every other artist that has come out with Dre beats or is working with them right now.
