He has been chasing that In The Club Pt 2 for years. That hood nigga title is not one Cube is running around chasing either. People would not respect Cube if he did 20,000 more movies like Boyz N The Hood IMO and he would just get caught up in the mix of everyone else doing the same movies. For the most part, the difference is Cube makes the music not only his fans what to hear but what he wants to do. 50 for the most part makes songs he THINKS people want to hear.I agree, but another major difference is that Ice Cube was one of the few gangsta rap pioneers, so he is entitled to do what the fuck he wants, he will still be a legend. 50 on other hand, is just another gangsta rapper.yeah, i always had a problem with the "Pioneer Pass" that older rappers get lol.D-Nice was breaking it down real well in another thread; but D was on point with the "50 forcing it" thing.& Blasphemy is speakin' that realness; mad youngsters who aren't real into rap or really anybody not really into rap is shocked when they find out that Cube is really a top contender for GOAT.

He was saying society seems to blame the problems on rap. So it was kind of a dig on that. Hood Mentality is just Cube talking about the mind state of people in the hood and if they want to better themselves, they need to change their mentality.
