Want to hear a joke of a rule?
« on: September 17, 2009, 02:46:12 PM »
how in God's name did somebody make a 15 yard penalty & fine for over celebration in the N-Zone?

GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!

one of THE worst rules i ever heard lol, TD celebrations were the shit.

like what TO would do & then Chad Johnson got into, they were sick.

another related rule states: you cannot do a celebration with the ball as a prop.

what is spiking the ball? it is a celebration using the football.

STUPID SHIT! >:(

No Fun League

Luckily for Packer fans...the Lambeau Leap was grandfathered in and still allowed after TDs.  I wonder if Ochocinco will get fined this week if HE does it though in Green Bay.

^he probably would, but it's bullshit no matter how you look at it.

as long as you don't physically touch the opposing team, or kill a fan, i think you should LEGALLY be allowed to do anything you want to celebrate a touchdown.

it would be fun to watch, brings some more life to the game.

remember when TO was a 49er, scored & ran to the big star in the middle of the Cowboys stadium? :o 8)

that shit was classic a FUCK!

The thing is, when Ochocinco was doin all those endzone celebrations...it wasnt FANS complaining about it. I think when ESPN did a poll on it, most fans thought it was entertaining. Especially because Ochocinco never really did it to show up the other team...just as entertainment.

Yeah, when TO did that it was pretty funny.  But it was even funnier when George Teague knocked his ass off the star lol

People get so butthurt about what athletes do that it would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic, I remember when TO scored & pretened to be videotaping after the whole spygate thing and got fined, shit is seriously sad.

I think as long as you arent showin up the other team, like no taunting the other team or shit like that.  Cus I understand wanting to keep the sportsmanship aspect to the league.  Plus, it IS football and you dont want anybody gettin killed out there cus theyve completely pissed off the other team.

another related rule states: you cannot do a celebration with the ball as a prop.

You can if you're the Steelers in the Superbowl and you just made a comeback. You can also illegal block for your QB if you're a Steeler.

Likewise, if youre a Raider...particularly a Raider rookie receiver, youre not allowed to score a touchdown even if youre practically laying in the end zone with the ball... :-\

HA.  You know its real.  Even down here in SD I havent heard one Charger fan say that the call wasnt bullshit.  On ESPN radio they even made the comment that you wont see that called again, especially to have the play OVERTURNED LOL.  If it happens to the Patriots, we'll see a rule change next year.  But hey, youre a niner fan...youre the one team that can make us feel good about our QB situation  8)

You can throw the record out. Roethlisberger has a better win percentage then Montana, doesnt make him better at QB.

Last year Hill and Russell both threw 13 TDs, 8 Ints.

They are taking hitting the QB wayyyy to seriously this year. I know Vince Wilfork has a reputation but that hit on the QB during the Bills game was NOT roughing the passer.
