Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon has addressed rumors that he came close to signing with Diddy's Bad Boy Records in the 1990's and said he is now willing to join the rap mogul's label.

Aside from speaking on the old gossip, the Chef said he is currently on the prowl for a new record deal.

"I heard that too," Rae said. "We did a show at the Palladium [years back], and Puff had security with him that was from Staten Island. When we got back to Staten Island, we bump into the kid, and he told us while he was up there performing, Puff said, 'I need them two. What I gotta do?' He was excited about working with us [and] signing us too. I don't know why it ain't happen, either. You never know. Maybe he may want to do that now. I'm independent, baby. So let's get it right. Let's cut them checks, Puff. We know what time it is!" (MTV)

"I need them two?"

So who's the other besides Raekwon?

Don't think it'll happen though.

Eh, i don't know, it COULD work, if he doesn't try to get super jig with them.

I could see them being promoted like some Black Rob shit back in 2000, with Whoa, and later Shynes bad boyz... "The Return of BadBoy street shit" lol.... Not very likley, but at this point, artist will try anything...

my initial reaction was wtf. but if puffy provides him with some American gangster style production, and maybe a Back like that type rnb track then I wouldnt mind. Of course we all fear Rae talking about how 'one time you had it all, i aint mad at yall, now give me the catalogue and show u how daddy ball'. But hopefully that wont happen...

Hell no , Puff Daddy is lame now , singing and shit with autotunes ...   He is trying to mess up another rappers career by being on bad boy ,  can we say Eightball & Mjg , Shyne , ETC ETC ....        Bad idea for Raekwon
