Ask anyone in hip hop, just "freely" spitting is called a freestyle, it doesn't have to be off the top (which is a different use of the term freestyle).

Flow-wise, this gotta be one of the best freestyles I have ever heard.
And I only consider parts that are off the dome as freestyles, none of that written bullshit.
