I already said this in a thread like this a few days ago but Onyx's "All We Got Iz Us" album is pretty dark.

The Truth is TECH N9NE is the first Independent Artist of any genre to sell one-million records. I remember hearing him for the first time in the late 90's. My first reaction was .." why i am just hearing about him "... "how come no one else know who he is". For Me and my opinions Tech N9ne instantly jupmed into arguments of the top ten rappers of all-time. Since then TECH N9NE has spent his illustrious career making sure he’s been grinding harder than the average rapper. With eight solo albums and one powerhouse collaboration project under his belt, the Kansas City MC’s flow is sharper and slicker than it’s ever been. Sickology 101 featuring Crooked I and Chino XL is Easily one of the dopest hip hop tracks of the year. Catch Him On Tour This Summer as part of the Rock the Bells Tour. If have never heard TECH N9NE music, i have one thing to   say..... Do Your Homework. !!!!!!!!!                       http://100kbattle.blogspot.com/2009/07/first-indie-artist-to-sell-million.html  8)

If you really want some Dark rap. Check Cypress Hill III Temples of Boom. That shit is spooky. I think Black Sunday was dark, but you can still hear the transition from its funky debut, to its darker sound on that album.
