What impressed me today was he had a meltdown in the 2nd and came back from it.Most rookies would have just been done after that 2nd quarter and tucked their tail for the rest of the game.
what surprises me the most is how well mark sanchez is playing. he's playing better for the lowly jets than brett favre was a year ago and better than he was with USC. crazy shit. definitely one of my favorite players now. amazing to see him do so well in his 3rd week in the league and JD Booty and Matt Leinart are still lost on their respective benches.

In the first 4 week last year Brett Favre had 1000 yards and 12 TDs. So Sanchez needs 8 TDS and 400 yards next week to match Brett. Let's be honest here; The Jets D with Ryan is the only reason the Jets are a contender. Sanchez on Mangini's team last year is 0-3. He's a great rookie and a great fit to a team like the Jets are this year. He'd be great in Baltimore too, but in Tampa or Detroit he wouldn't stand out at all. That being said, I can't see him not winning rookie of the year.
