qustion about dj quik and suga free beef ?

what started the beef was there (real) diss tracks and is everything cool with them now also if so any think these two would get back together cuz they made some dope as music

I don't remember the actual story but I think it started when Suga Free sold one of DJ Quik's beats without his consent.
Last I heard they were both performing on stage, then something bad broke out during it.

only diss tracks I can think of off the top of my head, are some skits from the Trauma mixtape, as far as the Key Club show last April, when Free and Quik were performing together, Quik swung on Suga Free's hype man onstage. I never got an explanation on what happened, but from what I can tell, his hypeman was basically ruining the song, and wouldn't give up the mic, Quik said something to him, he said something back, and Quik immediately swung. At the next show, someone asked him where Free was, Quik said idk, i'm here, where is he.

Man it's a shame that they don't make music together anymore because the bring out of each other. Street Gospel is a classic in my opinion. That album is bumpable from begging to end.

Quik had a sick team but they always seem to have an internal beef. He should have mad a name for his camp and pushed it. I think it could have did well. Just look at the roster he had.

Yeah the beef was over a beat the Suga Free sold.

Quik dissed Free on the track Total Auto which was on the Trauma mixtape.

Free originally was going to diss Quik back on the Just Add Water album.  But he changed the track.  It was the track called Change.

If i remember right Sugafree threatened Quik's kids. Later in an interview Quik confessed that at some point he was out in the streets tracking down sugafree with a gun ready for whateva.Luckily, he never found him (or never really had the balls to, we will never know).But what initiated the beef was probably the beat sugafree sold as stated yeah
