I agree totally!!!  The fact that he is white is big part of it,  He's a good raper with Dr.Dre so blacks feel him some what, and the fact that he's white makes yong white people feel like they have someone who they can connect with on a hip-hop level.  Dre and Snoop are two of the biggest rap stars and their movie diddnt do shit,  tupac was the biggest rap star ever and his movie's were all good but they never got as much hype as Eminem.  but Eminem knows the reason he's so big is becuse he's white he says it himself.  so it really doesnt matter.

I am not a huge eminem fan, but he IS a better actor than most rappers judging from this movie,............besides, this movie was produced by the guy who did A BEAUTIFUL MIND, whereas most movies with rappers are usually do not have a ton of talent behind the scenes..........

Hell, Eminem admitted it in a couple of interviews that his color has alot to do with his success. That's what got people listening to him in the first place cause HE IS A WHITE RAPPER.

That's why his popularity grows with each album he produces, cause the man has skill. He's overrated and blown way out of proportion because alot of white kids have only given him a listen and think he is the only rapper out there with that ability.

All of his lyrics that came under controversy played a role in his popularity too. But all these organizations can give a fuck about about any black rapper that talks about killing his wife or saying fuck his mom.
