He inflate his sales like 50 did. Bring up worldwide sales which isn't accurately tracked.

50 says 11 million but did 6 million in U.S. with GRODT
Game says 5 but did 2 mill in U.S.

By official sats 50 could have sold between 800,000-1,200,000 copies in the UK with GRODT. The Game could have sold 400,000-800,000 copies. Seeing as the UK is probably the second biggest consumer of US hip-hop then you can probably work out 11mil worldwide is probably an exaggeration.

Then again thanks to Eminem, the G Unit brand was able to spread to parts of the world which hip-hop doesn't usually sell in. And sales in places like Africa are pretty difficult to track...

All you ignorant people from the West usually forget Japan, it is a big market for American music, vastly bigger than the UK.

Its a big market but not vastly bigger than the UK in terms of sales. Also in rap the UK is where the big sales were coming from outside of the US for the gunit albums.

I always thought Japan had a huge market for hip-hop.  I already know the UK does.  They both have a growing one.

Worldwide (if you don't count Canada) there are a lot of different markets for Hip Hop. Japan and UK being the main two. The others that are growing are places like Germany, and even Australia/New Zealand

He went what would be classed as Gold here in the UK. Don't know the current number to date though

Well the reason I ask,is when people get into arguements about game and defend him and how he was a bigger artist then g units other artist and bring up the five million sales and how banks and buck only did two each. But game only did two in the us,same as banks same as buck.Im sure if you looked at worldwide it would be the same sales as banks and buck.He was just another g unit rapper nothing more.Hell does anyone even have proof that he sold 5 million worldwide or they just take him at his word?He was a creation of 50 and g unit, not dre,no matter how many dre and game stans want to think that.

Lloyd Banks and Young Buck only certified platinum according to RIAA.  :-\

It took Game 2 months to do 2xplatinum, it took Banks 3 months to hit platinum and it took Buck 5 months to hit platinum...

I don't know if that proves Game is a bigger artist... but he sold more (twice as much) and sold quicker (twice as fast) than any G-Unit artist not named 50 Cent.

I don't know who to give credit to whether its Dre affiliation, 50 affiliation, Game's gangsta image that was marketable, or maybe all are to be credited not just 50 Cent as 50 stans would want you to believe?
