Recommend me some TV shows

I've watched The Sopranos (twice) & The Wire. What other good shows are there?? They don't have to be gangster/street, it can be about everyday stuff, just recommend me something good, thx.

The Shield really got on my nerves by season 3 or 4. I couldn't stand it anymore. There are some really bad story lines and the whole crime of the week thing wasn't needed.

Season 3 was alright, though season 4 might be the weakest season, but it REALLY picked up in season 5 & 6, with the introduction of Forest Whitaker, intense seasons..  8)

Haven't seen season 7 yet, but critics says it's the craziest final season of a show ever.  :o

The rape angle stuff was all very poorly done, and the one storyline whatever season it was with Dutch and the serial killer was particularly horrible.

Oh, I forgot to mention Bored To Death. Great comedy on HBO. Another cool comedy is The League on FX.


Also, I've been watching Burn Notice. It's a fun action show and I just saw the pilot of White Collar; also fun.


And there's a great British comedy called The Inbetweeners.
