Colts & Saints remain undefeated.
« on: November 22, 2009, 02:31:15 PM »
we could be looking at the first (& ONLY, for the rest of eternity) a perfect Super Bowl.

both 10-0.

the Colts pulled one out on defense ( :o) against Baltimore.

it would be an amazing Super Bowl that i think the Saints would prevail in.

those Colt injuries are going to get them one week.

both teams got six games left & then the playoffs, so i don't want to jump the gun, but it's pretty incredible.

I say there is a 5% chance that they both enter the playoffs undefeated.

it's either the Saints or Vikings & i personally have to like the Saints there, even though i'll be rooting for the Vikings.

i can see the Pats giving the Colts trouble in the AFC.

i'll give it a 15% chance. :P

I think if the Saints beat the Pats next week that they'll go undefeated, or at least they'll have a real strong chance, but I don't see Indy sweeping the division 6-0, so something tells me either Houston, Jacksonville or Tenn will beat them, but if the Colts can go 6-0 in the North they will go 16-0. But I'm still not confident on either team as locks in the playoffs. Peyton made two bone head throws today and a pretty average Baltimore D today held them to 17 points and Baltimore's offense isn't as good as people think. As long as Indy doesn't face SD or NE in the playoffs they'll breeze through it, and while they "can" beat NE and SD they could just easily lose big time.

NO will show me what they're all about next week if they beat NE. The only NFC team they'll need to worry about in the playoffs is Minn, but I still think the Cards have the ability to beat them too.

On a side note; seeing Sanchez and Fitzpatrick today I have to ask; why is Jeff Garcia sitting at home?

I think so too. But against the Saints in the NFC Championship I could see Brett being the reason they keep it close and then throwing a bad INT to end the game.

If both the Saints and Colts are undefeated then that'll clearly be the best SB match up, but if they aren't then the best match up will be Brett/Manning or Manning/Manning, and then Saints/Colts.

I unno, i was bretts biggest hater atthe start of theseason but he has been playing out of his mind and not given up those dumb int's hes known for. I think that the whole adrian peterson factor is exactly what he needed. I mean 21tds and only 3ints. Thats pretty fuckin unbelievable

Coming up they have the Texans, Titans, Broncos, Jags, Jets. They could run the table and the could just as well go 3-2 or 2-3. They lucked out that Denver is on the way down and Sanchez should get eaten up by the Colts secondary. They run this table and they'll be 15-0 going into Buffalo for week 17. The problem with that game is that it'll be Buffalo in January and with a home advantage through-out the playoffs there's no point getting used to the cold so I wonder how long the starters will be in there. Of course the way Buffalo is playing the Colts back ups should be able to win that game. They go 15-0 and the final game is in Buffalo I'll be there in person watching that game.
