when i first bought it, i was bumping it all the time, but as time went on, I became more interested in lyrically talented, in addition to phat beats.  Listening to it now, I get bored with the songs because not only have I heard the cd at parties over the past 3 years, but the lyrics are flat out boring in some spots.  Don't get me wrong, I still love "The Next Episode", "Still D.R.E.", "Housewife", and "Bang, Bang", but other songs just bore me now

Well im not really feeling it as much as before when it first came out, people who said this was the West's Best Album in a Long Time were obviously wrong, as STREETZ IZ A MUTHA is much better then this.....when i listen to this album nowadays i find myself skipping quite a few tracks....

I still don't know why Dre, Eminem, and the rest these artists think skits like the ones on 2001 make albums better.

Why have them on there?  Right now they are instant fast-forward material.

I  like the first half after that I take it out,  Not by any means a classic in my book.  and too many skits.

This album is like a therapist for me.  I can put it on no matter how I feel, I'll feel better after listening to it.  I guess I'm the only one, but I like the skits, IMO it's better than having just a bunch of songs put together, the skits are what make the album what it is.  If it were just the 18 songs it would have been like a Dre mixtape or something.  2001 is my 2nd favorite album of all time (The Chronic is 1st).  I still listen to it daily.  I have a copy in my house and a copy in my car.

I still love the songs i loved when it came out, still hate the songs i hated when it came out and it's still the best commercial album to come out since Doggystyle.
