that trade will remain retarded.CONSPIRACY!
How much sense does it make that Memphis dumped Pau Gasol to save money and then signed Zach Randolph? I smell fraud.Plus, Marc Gasol is better than expected, but Crittenton ain't shit.
Two future first round picks, 2nd round pick, Javaris Crittenton (1st round pick) Marc Gasol, Kwame Brown, Aaron Mckie. I still don't understand why this was such a bad trade for a rebuilding team . Lol if the trade hadn't been made to the Lakers nobody would've cared.

Portland signed him to a 6-year, $84 million contract extension in 2004, and he's still caking off of it. Lol if the trade hadn't been made to the Lakers nobody would've cared. the Grizzlies chose Donte Green with the Lakers' 08 First rounder and traded him to Houston for Darrell Arthur; Crittenton is a bust who was traded to the Wizards last year; Kwame Brown is fucking Kwame Brown (nuff said) and the Grizzlies didn't resign him; Aaron McKie was an Assistant Coach for the 76ers at the time and was only included because he was last with the Lakers.Basically, when you break the trade down two years later, the Grizzlies got Marc Gasol, Darrell Arthur, and the Lakers First Rounder this year for Pau Gasol. The problem with Pau Gasol and the Grizzlies is that much like the 76ers and Andre Iguadala, the team made him a franchise guy even though he's no better than a 2nd or 3rd option on a really good team.

And I've never heard of Donte Green but they chose to get him 1st round. I'm not saying the Lakers didn't end up benefiting more but if Crittenton and Green had turned out good then everyone would probably be praising this.

Donte Green went to Syracuse; Memphis drafted him and traded him to Houston draft night. Houston actually traded him to Sacramento for Ron Artest. I think when you break down the trade for what it was at the time, the only pieces of the puzzle the Lakers really gave up for Pau Gasol was Marc Gasol and 2 first rounders. The rest of the deal were bums that were only there because they were salary throw-ins to make the trade work.

The point is they acquired someone with almost an identical salary who is also a worse player and has a worse character than the guy they gave away to dump salary. How much sense does that make, nigga?

How much sense does that make, nigga?Did you read my post? I wasn't talking shit. I was correcting the guy that said the Grizzlies signed Zach Randolph as a free agent. Production-wise Z-Bo puts up numbers, the only problem is that he hasn't been in a locker room that has any discipline.
