back in late 96 some people wasn't feeling this track from dre....but i always thought this was a classic song.beat lyrics on point.

One of my favorite Dre tracks and the video was classic and innovative (remember how they switched into the Tango)...I love the part where he raps, "we both black so I don't wanna lay you flat".. I think to this day, he was talking to Suge and deathrow in general with all the dissing they were doing back then.. Funny how things have worked out since then..At the time, the song and the album did not do as well as Dre hoped and Suge, Pac and DR were still on top....Now, Suge is non-existent, Pac is dead, all the no-names on DR at the time (J-Flexx comes to mind) who were dissing Dre on Suge and Pac's behalf are all finished. Of course Dre later released the Classic 2001 and is still and industry giant and a living legend even though there will probably never be a Detox.

I have to admit I was underwhelmed when I first heard this song in 1996 but now I do consider it a classic and play it on the regular.

well dre gave this beat to rass...cause he only used half of it for the video.
