What are you kidding me? Of course Barry is the best player, of at least the MVP era. He was a beast in his prime. Griffey if healthy the whole time may have had something to say about that, but it didn't work out that way.
You know whats so sad about Barroid. If it wasn't for his ego and and jealousy without a doubt he would of gone down as a top 10 player of all time. Instead he was jealous of McGwire and Sosa and now with all his accomplishments he may not even get voted into the HOF. When so many were juicing before him, he was still the best player in Baseball. And that still wasn't enough for him.
^^Ruth played in a sport that at the time banned the greatest athletes from being allowed to play It is also absurd to compare a player from the 20's to now. Bonds is EASILY the greatest player since Willie Mays though and possibly the greatest baseball player in the history of the game.
'Oh I can't see him, I can't see God', YA'LL CAN'T SEE FUCKIN' AIR NEITHER!
Prove to me the wind. Show me the wind man. I want proof of that shit. Cuz I don't see it.
ask 1,000,000 baseball fans who the best was and the vast majority will say that Babe Ruth is the best to ever play the sport. i am part of that majority.
Call me when Barroid throws 29⅔ straight scoreless innings in the World Series.
arguments like this are what makes Baseball >>>> any other sport.
