Sometimes, it's tough to be the messenger, but in the interest of your considerably valued well-being, I feel I have to share the results of this study...Microbiologists from Hollins University and Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, VA, have concerns about unhealthy bacteria dispensed with your Coke, Pepsi, or whatever you drink from a public self-serve or a personnel-served dispensing machine. And they have good reason to be concerned, after finding that half of the drinks they tested from 30 different dispensers found fecal matter (an E.coli bacterium). Other pathogenic microorganisms found in the sodas included Chryseobacterium meningosepticum, Klebsiella, Staphylococcus, Stenotrophomonas, Candida, and Serratia, which could contribute to everything from meningitisto gastrointestinal disease to pneumonia in immunocompromised individuals. Eleven antibiotics were tested on the bacteria and many samples were found to resist more than one of them. It's not Coke or Pepsi's fault, but the findings suggest the nasty bacteria -- I mean, fecal matter in your soda! - are a pretty serious public health problem. It's people who are not using hygienic practices that are responsible. Expect more studies, and hopefully, some stricter public health regulations and enforcement on use and maintenance of these fountain dispensers.I don't know about you, but henceforth, I'm sticking to bottled beverages. Hmm. I wonder if tap beer is a problem too....http://inventorspot.com/articles/think_you_drink_fecal_material_found_sodas_fountain_dispensers_36377

Hell I used to do sewer cleaning and you would never eat in any place other than your home if you saw what I have seen. I'm talking about shit I have seen in pristine restaurants not just mickey d's

That is the shit that's bad for you. This is why I drink Mexican Coke with the cane sugar in it.
