damn, I can't believe it's been 5 years... where the fuck has all the time gone

I still remember the first times hearing "Westside Story" and "How We Do", and going to FYE (back when it was still Strawberry's over here lol) to cop the album the day it dropped... I just recall bumping the album everyday to and from school for weeks after buying it... memories  8)

album is a personal classic for me

I'm not a fan of Game at all. But this album did have some classic good production.

I'm all for diverse opinions but I don't see how you can down the production even if you are a Game hater. The album definately did have some classic production, IMO the best album of the decade sonically. If Game can even get close to this album with RED it will be a major hit.

Its a great album yea, Dre, 50 and Eminem decided to put the West back on the map with that one. Classic...compared to shit that gets released today in hip hop world, yea.

True.

The album had some weak aspects (the hook of "Westside Story", "How We Do", Yayo's verse on "Runnin", the mastering on "Higher", etc.), but overall it's a great album and Game even managed to top this with DA.

its a really solid album but for me to give something classic status it would have to have no bad tracks. the documentary is not a classic album.

Classic album.

It was the only West Coast album that gets mentioned in the "Top Albums of the Last Decade" lists that I've read from other forums and magazine lists.

Its a good album, still listen to it from time to time, but it isnt classic, producers outweigh the rapper

Yeah it's a good album but not an classic, there's a couple of weak tracks that you have to skip when you bumpin' it.
