its a cool technology, but not every building has that.  but the cali building codes make it so most buildings will be ok during a strong quake.

im saying that haiti was a shit hole before the quake.  now its a bigger shit hole and all the money pouring in will only restore it to the shit hole they once knew, if theyre lucky.

if all the hundreds of millions of dollars that are now pouring into haiti would have been used before and made it so that the new buildings had some type  of regulations then it might have prevented a lot of deaths.
