Hayes gains more respect in my book for not talking shit about Bishop Lamont (unlike Slim Da Mobster). Notice though he did say he was dropped, not released from contract as Bishop claims. It'd be nice to see a collab between the two.
You never know what’s going to happen today or tomorrow in the music industry and Bishop Lamont is the type of person that just because he left Aftermath doesn’t mean that his career is over.
Notice though he did say he was dropped, not released from contract as Bishop claims.
I never believe anything is coming out on aftermath until its in my hands.

He's saying Bishop is capable of having a career beyond Aftermath despite being dropped. How is that a bad thing?

How is that a bad thing?I think the point dre-day was making is that you claimed that hayes said bishop was dropped from the label when hayes never said that. He said he LEFT the label. That is open to intepretation but he never ever in that interview once said bishop got dropped by aftermath.Im not saying he did not or did get dropped, but hayes never said it.
AllHipHop.com: So Bishop Lamont was signed with Dre, and people were expecting a little bit more from that collaboration, we heard music, but fans were left wanting a little bit more. How do you feel you set yourself apart from any of Dre’s other projects?Hayes: Man you know what, there are things that go on and things that don’t go on and at the end of the day hopefully, I would like to be one of the things that goes on. I hope God stays with me and guides me the right way and stays with me through this whole thing and we will get the results that we want. You never know what’s going to happen today or tomorrow in the music industry and Bishop Lamont is the type of person that just because he got dropped from Aftermath doesn’t mean that his career is over. Bishop is a very talented artist. I have been dropped before and that could be anybody at any second. You just got to keep your faith in God and work as hard a possible and hope everything will be alright.
