 Corey Haim was actually a pretty notable presence in movies back in the 1980s.  As someone who grew up in that decade, I can honestly say I remember quite a few of his movies. "The Lost Boys" and "Silver Bullet" were a couple of my favorites.  Unfortunately it seems he was another actor who became a casualty of his own success.  He had struggled with drugs for years, which had all but killed his career by the early 1990s.  I can't say I was surprised to hear that this happened, but it's unfortunate none-the-less.
