Question: Why don't I produce up and coming rappers like I use to? I got burnt out. Niggas couldn't take the baton and run wit it. Eazy E never made cube a star.  Eazy and cube both came up in the game at the same time.  Eazy was not an established star that was known worldwide and all of a sudden brought in cube and gave him his start.  Eazy and cube came up hand in hand - both had a part in each others success.

Not nearly the same as all the people who cube introduced to the world.  Cube was a household name, a certified star.

i don't know how Ice Cube's career would have looked like, without ruthless records,
but i do know that no label was willing to give Ice Cube a chance at the time.
Cube didn't even think that NWA was going to blow up, hence he came with a backup plan.
