Been Banging this album all week. Very good. Lyric wise its typical cypress hill but its a very musical and varied album. In my opinion its probably their strongest since IV. Don't get me wrong i kinda liked Skull and Bones but since then Cypress became kinda corny. I mean Stoned Raiders was weak and Till Death sounded really lazy. Rise up is a strong comeback.

Very diverse sounding album. Light It Up the beat is amazing. Pete Rock comes through once again. As with everyone the best beats are the Khalil/Muggs ones but B did a good job as well. Hopefully now that B has run the show for 1 album, Muggs will get back to full time beat duties for the next one.

Good to hear Sen Dog have more mic time. This is easily the most he has rapped on any Cypress album. This one is definitely a grower on me. Still got Light It Up on repeat.

Just listening to it. Glad I did. Its worth a listen if you like Cypress.

I mean yer its nothing that blow your mind but its good so far. Shame about the chorus on Pass the Dutch cause the beat was pretty fly.

It's a real solid record but I think it's getting boring after each listen
