For a 5th rd pick.Wow that is a horribly one sided traded. The jets now have one of the best receiving groups in the nfl

Ok, c'mon Peyton. The seeds are set for a dynasty. Just tell the Colts to trade you to NY now or you're leaving at the end of the contract.

Cotechery wasnt even the number one last season lol.Im sorry hack but santonio holmes is superior to cotchery in almost every way.Hes coming off a 78 catch 1300 yard season and won the super bowl MVP two seasons ago.He cant play wideout or play in the slot.Cotch is now the number three receiver for the jets, thats not debateable.
OCHOCINCO tweeted that the jets need to be stopped its becoming unfair lol.I have to say considering the jets are being held back by the final 8 rules not allowing them to sign free agents unless they lose one and only allowing to sign them for the amount that the player lost signs for, they are doing the most moves this off season.Add in that Jason Taylor will most likely be signing to the jets, this team is getting scary. If sanchez plays like he did for the last few games, jets are going to the superbowl. They already have the best defense which got better with cromartie and kris jenkins coming back but now suddenly this offense looks scary good on paper. To think sanchez can drop back and at one time look to pass to dustin keller, leon washington, ladainian tomlinson, braylon edwards, santonio holmes and jerricho cotchery is scary.

Jets makin some dope ass moves.

The reason they got Holmes so cheap is because he's suspended for the first 4 games this coming year and is in his contract year..he's expecting a serious pay day after this year.

Well, the suspension hasnt been handed ouyt yet but it is probable.Even so,holmes for a 5th rd for 12 games and playoffs is a lopsided trade.Steeler fans are pissed.I dont see how other teams passed on this, holmes is a certified star at receiver.

Definitely worth 12 games and playoffs. Still very lopsided. I wish the Titans did it lol. Yeah, teams are dumb for passing or if they think this kid is a trouble maker; i don't think he is.

nice deal for the Jets, at least for this year. Dont forget people tho that the Jets are still a heavy run offense, and they shouldnt get away from that

Cotchery and a round 2 or 3 pick for Marshall. Denver would go for it I bet.

thats true. but more threats downfield will only help open up things for the run also.

What the Jets should understand tho too....is that they are putting a ton of pressure on Sanchez. If the team doesnt perform with this kind of talent...everyone will come down on him. And if he suffers from any kind of sophmore jinx the heat from the media could come quick. So even more reason to stick with the run

Or they can convince Peyton Manning to jump on winner.
