guarentee those were not recorded in the last year. But obviously he'll pit them out as people will pay money for them. I do thnk in the last year the quality and concentration have come back to Kurupt.

I've listened to the album too and wouldn't of rated it as high..

I'd give it a 3 out of 5.

I'm Burnt and Yessir were both solid songs and album highlights. I was a bit disappointed some of the tracks on the 420 mixtape were a lot better than Streetlight tracks.

Factors that took away from the album:

1.) Whisper Flow (I really wish he would give that flow up.. I guess we're lucky he's stayed away from that flow on DPG tracks)

2.) Terrance Martin (A bit overhyped producer.. should of been more variety in production and only true stand out production was Burnt)
Burnt is boring, so that's not really a great example

Well that beat is 2 of the 14 songs as the remix and the original have the same beat. I personally like the original better as Kurupt delivers much better on it.

In Gotti We Trust sounds like something Dre would of experimented with back in '98 and had potential but Kurupt seems bored on the song. So that would be the 2nd stand out TM production.

At the least Burnt is getting airplay in LA and Portland, I don't know if it is anywhere else but people seem to like it where I live and so do the DJs.
what? i thought Kurupt was on fire there

Its that.. bitch nigga you's more of a bitch than bitch.. type of lyrics with a slower flow than usual.. sounded like he was bored. He did the same thing on that Craccin All Night (Cali Iz Active with Puffy) track.. which I understood as maybe he was pissed off about having to work with Puffy. Listen to that track and then listen to In Gotti We Trust.. you'll see what I mean. At least on older songs like Representin That G.C. it was a faster flow to the repeats..

So do i. Some people just like to jump on the Kurupt fell off bandwagon.

A honest 3 out of 5 rating is jumping on the Kurupt fell off bandwagon?

Please.. I purchased every Kurupt solo except for ATG and think That Was Then This Is Now is some of the best DPG tracks I've heard in years. And you would be lying to say there are not better tracks on the 420 mixtape than the Streetlights album which is still giving it up for Kurupt as its his music.

Beats keep it cohesive - as you know, the majority of Streetlights is produced by Terrace. Like I said, he's one of Kurupt's biggest champions, so you know he's not gonna give him leftovers. Each track really does seem catered to the lyrics and theme.
damn, that alone is networth, that's exactly what a producer should do,makes me want to get the album off that alone yell
