Pac repped oakland on 2pacalypse now, strictly for my niggaz, me against the world and all eyez on me (even in the "california love" video).. just because he did one song about L.A. doesnt mean he repped it his whole career.. were u even listening to Pac when he was alive? because if u watched all his videos when he was alive about 90% of them were shot in the Bay...

Pac was born and raised on the East Coast, moved to the bay and started his rap career, repped the bay while he was there and then repped LA when he moved to LA. Basically repped wherever he was living at the moment. No one area really has complete claim to him. Anyone saying he didn't rep the bay is on some bullshit and probably didn't even listen to him until he signed to Death Row. He may not have specifically made a song dedicated to Oakland but he repped it in all his songs.

There are so many good non commercial rappers from the bay its unreal. I guess that can be said for a lot of areas. I have a cd collection of over 5,000 cds, most of them I would say 40% are bay area cds. It jus has the sound that I can never get enough of.
