the main draw of avatar was the 3-D not the actual movie.. so if youre watching it at home then u wont get the same effect..

Really?I didnt think so.I thought it was pretty gimmicky.It didnt really add anything in my eyes.the whole concept of 3d is just a gimmick,a movie is a movie wether things are coming out of the screen or not.And the movie was mediocre.I didnt like it when it was called pocohantos,and i didnt like it when it was called avatar.

Really liked it in the theater, with the 3d, and then saw a clip of it in 2d and it looked like a game Imo.. So I will probably wait for 3d tv's, before buying the movie..

Awesome graphics, mediocre plot. Started off cool but then devolved into a save the rainforest story which has been done a million times before. I wish they would have taken it somewhere interesting besides the generic "evil humans want to destroy nature" etc we've seen in nearly every animated movie involving creatures.
