Why is it people like crooked i,jay rock,glasses,bishop etc get more love from the legends of the south and east then they do from the west,their own coast?

Snoop would rather put on rappers he knows has zero chance of blowing then risk making someone bigger then him.Its his ego.Hed rather sign a bum ass guy like mac shawn who he knows has no fucking chance of doing anything then sign someone who could make a dent in the game.But the funny thing is,look at jay z.He helped kanye get on and now kanye is the one still making jay z relevant.If snoop could realize and actually put on someone and push them to become huge,they could help him stay relevant and make better music.Same with cube.Because malice in wonderland and raw footage were trash.

Jay z also hellped build and was co owner of rocafella and now has another label,not to mention he was the president of def jam.TI has grand hustle which is one of the hottest labels in the game right.Theyve made several careers.Thats a horrible comparison.

So because his label is hot, that gives him the right to a title? I thought "the king" meant who was the best in the game, not the guy who signed BoB. Fyi, TI has been calling himself the king of the south since before he put anyone on. He calls himself the king based on his mic skills, not what record label he owns. Same for Jay-Z. He started calling himself the king right after Biggie died, as a statement to all the other new york rappers.

smh @ how we can go from the 90s where rappers were respected based on how cocky they were to you crying because Snoop called himself the king of the west coast. Rakim calls himself the GOD MC for crying out loud. Hip hop has ALWAYS been based around bragging, swagger, and being cocky. From day one. Fans have turned into such pansies nowadays.

Cube is on an independent label. He's not going to make anyone blow up. Look at WC. Again we go back to this pipe dream of yours. 

You are seriously delusional if you think any of the new west have a shot to blow up, regardless of who endorses them. There will probably be another west coast artist to make it big. But it won't be what you expect. No one from the new west, or anyone you like. More than likely it will be someone like the New Boyz or Black Eyed Peas, someone who makes music that fits in with the current trends. In other words music that you think is trash. The only reason Snoop and Cube still sell at all is because of their legacy.

The point is they called themselves kings and then acted to the title by helping out others and building their own artists.They didnt call themselves kings and sit back and watch their coast die.Im well aware of when TI called himself a king Ive been listening to him since Im serious.

The fact remains the west coast is dead,so what does that say about the people that say they are the king of the coast?

If you dont think they know they exist then why do they make songs with them?Take your head out of your ass and stop trying to defend some old ass haters.I have no feelings invested in any of these artists Im just stating exactly how it is.I could care less who gets big and who flops.The point is the coast is dead and the so called leaders are pathetic has beens that do more harm to the coast then good.
