the easiest way for me to explain this is by comparing the iphone to windows.

on windows you can have administrative accounts that allow complete control over the computer and then you can make user accounts that don't have those privileges

the stock iphone is on one of these user accounts and there isn't much control over what you want to do.

jailbreaking allows you to run your iphone as an administrator (or root access.. whatever's clever)

tl;dr version: jailbreak your phone and do whatever the fuck you want to do with it. install cracked apps, change the look of your iphone, install cydia apps that allow you to do things outside of apples approval

don't use hackulous' installous, it's an outdated piece of shit. google install0us 2.5.2 or pick it up at sinful or xsellize repo
