What up fam, this is the Grand Wizard.
My Japan run would've been perfect if it wasn't for the fucked up sound in Fukuoka. For some reason the man at the sound board put a "gate" on our music (keeps it from peaking) but me and WC got through it like the pros that we are. But all the other shows were right. Tokyo is still smoking.

Spent a few quick days at the house. This year my mother's birthday landed on Mother's Day. She asked me and my brother to go to church with her. Being the good son that I am, we took her to church and then my sister cook brunch at my grandmother's house. It was cool, everybodys happy...now back to work.

Monday I flew to the ATL to do some promos on my "ARE WE THERE YET?" tv show with Terry Crews. I got in town about midnight so I just crashed out. Tuesday is a big day. I gotta do the Mo'nique Show for BET, Inside the NBA for TNT and my documentary Straight Outta L.A. is coming on ESPN.

Woke up and did about a half day of interviews over the phone. Then I had to get my shit together and go over to the Mo'nique show to do a on camera rehersal for my perfomance. Her crew is very tight and professional and her set is one of the best I've seen. When the show started she gave me nothing but love and respect and I appreciate that. I did a couple of segments and then Terry Crews and Essences Atkins came out and sat on the couch. Terry started dancing and everybody went crazy. After a quick change I hit the stage and did 2 songs. "I REP THAT WEST" & "IT WAS A GOOD DAY". They loved it. After the show, it was off to Inside the NBA.

This is my 3rd or 4th time on the show so it felt like I was going to see my homies at work. Me and Charles are real cool and Kenny Smith is my man. Ernie ain't so stiff when the cameras are off either. We all kick it in a control room with about 50 monitors playing every sports event you can think of. Even my documentary was playing. In the middle is a big monitor with the game of the night on. And the Celtics are killing the Cavs. What's dope is that, everybody in there is talking shit about sports. I was in heaven. At halftime we shot our segment. I was mad at myself for missing a couple of free throws before heating up a little at the end. My son Shareef is going to clown me but it was fun.

I Rep That West video is getting great feedback. People love the quality. I want to thank everybody who purchased the single and waited for the video to drop. Look for "Drink the Kool-Aid" to be the next song I release. Everybody's been asking about that one. So I'mma mix and master it when I get home and I'll have it up as soon as possible. Right now I gotta stop this blog and get ready to go to the airport but I wanted to answer a few questions that some of you have.

Why are me and Dre too busy to make a whole record together? Dre has to produce the music. If he ain't feeling it, it don't get done.
Kim doesn't do interviews because she's not the one in the business.
