The beats sound incomplete to me and I hope it is. It has a simple/boring kick and clap with some simple keys on top that's it, it can't be complete. Mixing and mastering it will only make it sound cleaner and louder but the beat will still sound boring as hell and incomplete. Hopefully it gets scrapped all together, I know they can make hotter tracks than this...

I really don't understand how ppl can think this beat even in unfinished form is wack. I also don't really understand how ppl don't think it sounds like a Dre beat. Maybe the drum's don't but every other element of this track sounds like shit he's been doing the past decade with that piano. That horn hit is catchy as fuck to me.

Are you serious?  I will give you 10 links to people on Soundclick who are making beats more creative, catchy, and pleasing than this generic ass beat...  You give Dre's equipment to some of these Soundclick and Myspace producers, they coming up with some way more funky shit than Dre is right now..

that's interesting... and that's something i think about sometimes - can a producer only go as far as his equipment will take him?
