I was just a lil curious as to how many of you are here strictly for the weswes. I mean, I know there are sections for the east, south, etc... but, since this is a west coast geared website, I was wondering, how many of you are here for the wes?

Me, I signed up to keep track of all the west coast artist that I like. New music, old music, and to read up on what the artist I like are up to on the best coast.

Not trying to start a West Coast vs Them (all other regions) at all. I honestly am just curious to know

The outbounds section talks about rappers that most people have already heard of. I started going to dubcnn (and by extension dubcc) for the new west that I wasn't even aware of before I came here.

i wouldn't say i'm strictly here for west coast artists, but that's definitely the main attraction for me. i've run into quite a lot of rare material on this site and have also learned about a lot of new underground rappers that i wouldn't have, had i not been here. the east, midwest and the south are great but they just don't interest me as much.

Honestly when I first heard about this site I came strictly for the WEST info and updates (music primarily).  After about 6 months I noticed the forum section and found the forums to more up on the info and news (more people looking = more info for all).  It is true that most the posts are about the veterans but we need to understand that the longer your in the game the more drama is involved (disses, beef, gossip, etc.).  As of lately, I have found 2dopeboyz to be more up-to-date on the up and coming artists and especially the non gangsta rappers.  Yes, DUBCNN does have some info on these guys but not as much.  Examples include: Kida, Shawn Chrystopher, TiRon, U-N-I, Pac Div
Overall I am blessed to have this site to go to as I lived in Iowa for most of my life and it was very difficult to stay up on the WEST.  Honestly, I kept Des Moines up to date with all WEST COAST.  I love to see people getn down on some new music and the flow and style that only the WEST can bring.
