So I heard that Shake It track for the first time today
« on: June 03, 2010, 11:28:20 AM »
Surprisingly I have yet to hear one song from Game's new album, I hear this new Shake it track, and after he says a line like "When I get a burger I want an extra large SHAKE", I just turn off the radio and went back to the CD I was playing

I support Game but if this is what RED is all about then he will set the westcoast back 5 years with this album

Its not on R.E.D., its a mixtape / buzz single.

But if  Game sets the West Coast back 5 years that would make it 2005...same year The Documentary dropped. Sounds like a good thing to me  ;D Set us back 5 years Game!

The song is dope.  Nothing to take serious, its a fun song.  I think there are plenty of other artists that have given the Westcoast a black eye.

Shake might not rhyme like more traditional hip-hop but it's creative and tells a story while being fun.  It's the best track he's released that's came from the R.E.D recording sessions.  Red Room was mostly unlistenabe and while It Must Be Me is entertaining and Game's vocals are on point, it's not as fun as Shake.  Big Money & Krazy were okay tacks.  The JT track & that Jim Jonsin produced track isn't memorable as I can't even recall their names.

I honestly don't care if the track rhymes.   I actually though Game was heading into a better direction based on Shake.  It was fine story telling.  It was entertainment.  It didn't feel forced nor did it feel fake.  It managed to capture Game's comical side while allowing him to be true to his marketed gangsta image.

Basically, if it's dope, it's dope and I thought it was.

Big Money and Krazy was the wackest shit Game ever done. That shit should be hidden from Games lifetime.

Better Days,Reunion,Pushing In with T.I and Red Room Mixtape Joints were all amzing.

All he needs is a single.

No, better days was a corny 90 boy band pop shit.  It was just a remake of that other horrible track he has called My Life.

Lowrider sounded dope but the rest of those tracks were ass.

Game's bar series has always been atrocious.  He can barely construct a song I don't want to hear him ramble about lies for 400 bars.

Heartbreak Hotel is so disrespectful to Biggie.  Puffy needs to be shot.

Reunion was a lackluster track with no energy.  It was flat.  This is the reunion?  get out of here.

That new ja rule track also sucks.

Most of it is game being cliche and not saying anything net worth.  At least on Shake he was entertaining and the production on Crazy was ill.
