The article doesn't necessarily state that Snoop is going to make an album consisting entirely of songs dedicated to, and about, the ladies.  But it still doesn't bode well. 
If I'm completely honest I don't really expect much from Snoop anymore these days, he's had a decent run but he's getting on a bit now.  I said a couple of years ago that he should retire (from making albums) and go out the way he came in - by having his swansong on Detox.  I think that would be a good look for him, but obviously it's not going to happen.

I do recall that as well he was saying how he was gonna ego trip no features he was gonna do all the raps and all the hooks himself. But i think its like others have said on this thread he's done time to hang em up and leave atleast on as high a note as he can cause his last 2 albums were garbage

Yeah, the thing is, hes not concerned with selling right now. And dont forget right before MIW came out, he said that if he made a straight G record, he'd kill the industry. But thats just not his focus right now.

And also, on a side note, ive heard some of his songs in his Ustream videos [like that song with the Wu Tang C.R.E.A.M Beat], so if hes not gonna make a Gangsta LP anytime soon, atleast i know for sure that he'll be dropping a dope MixTape.

According to a few snoop interviews, snoop said that hes not doin it for 'you', he just makes music however he want to and he have a hope for somebody to like this.. i remember there was some little 'conflict', when dubcnn interviewer said 'LAX' from TBCT is not that good as it should be (Snoop, Cube, Battlecat, come on), snoop answered that if u dont like it, then its not for you, others may like it.. so basicaly he dont care bout his fans

tbf i actually think he's entitled to do that. although it could be argued an artist isn't reaching his full potential, music is an art, therefore meant to be about expressing yourself, so an artist should be able to make the music they wanna. especially if the artist has already proven himself, like Snoop has

do you think that this is the kind of music that he wanna hear personally? ...i think it's all about album-sales...and that don't even work...he sold way better when he focused on his own style...i mean, he can grow as an artist and put HIS style to the next level...that would be a good move
