You expect me to download an album that isn't real? Sorry, but I can't sign this.
Complex: But you’ve had bad luck with the tattoos in the past. You had that G-Unit tattoo and then you got the G-Unot tattoo. You’re not worried about like if you guys don’t stay cool with each other, or he decides to retire, or whatever else might happen?Did Game have a G-unit tattoo?
nice for him to be straight about the release date, everyone knows its jimmy than has the final say. if you read between the lines it sounds like the label could still can it altogether. he says its gonna be incredible but i'm dubious, could end up being very similar to LAX. makes it sound like dr. dre has a lot of input on the album, yet they don't have a good enough cross-over single to run with. that doesn't add up, you would expect dre to have given him something to fit that criteria, given he produced by far the biggest single of his career - 'how we do'. westside story also got him a lot of initial buzz for the doc.

Hes one of their bigger hip hop draws, they just dont want to fuck up his release. They want it to do well so they are planning a good marketing strategy and waiting for Jimmy to pick out the single to run with. And to answer you question about Dr. Dre....If you look back into history, Dre makes albums go #1, not singles....Many rappers have Dre produce their albums but use other producers songs for their first singles. Busta Rhymes had Dre all over his album and he went with Swizz Beatz tracks as singles. Snoop Dogg has gone on to say that Dre gave Snoop his #1 album but Pharell gave him his first #1 single. The Game is no different. How We do and Westside Story did chart well but Hate It Or Love was Game's first #1 Single and it was produced by Cool N Dre. Im not saying its a lack of Dres skills but for some reason people dont use his songs as first singles anymore. With maybe one or two exceptions.
