I always thought that if they ever did decide to do another Batman movie with Keaton and Burton, then they should focus on the Dark Knight Returns comic book. It was that comic that revolutionized Batman, and it would ironic, because it was what Burton based his movies off of and it would be what saves the Burton series it's self.

I never read the comic but with Keaton's age, they could totally bring him back in a Batman Beyond story.

I'd rather see Tim Burton remake Casablanca with Michael Cera as Rick Blaine and Mr T as Ilsa than ever let him near a Batman property again.

I knew you were gonna say that. And for the record, they should never remake "Casablanca." But while we're stirring the pot, I still say "The Dark Knight Returns" is overrated. It's good yes, but far from Miller's best. On the other hand, it's better than anything he's written lately.

It's definitely better than Allstar Batman and Robin though. I do prefer year one and Miller's Daredevil run to DKR.Funny fact about the Casablanca remake; When Ben Affleck was dating J Lo there was a rumor the two wanted to remake it starring themselves.

Thank god that never happened. Btw, I agree with you completely on "Allstar Batman and Robin." "The Dark Knight Returns" was much better than that. I also agree with you regarding Miller's "Batman: Year One." To me, that's hands down, the best writing Miller has ever done for Batman. A few years back Frank Miller and director, Darren Aronofsky were collaborating on a movie adaptation of "Batman: Year One." Obviously it never happened and now that we have "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," I doubt it ever will. Even though I'm very happy with the way "Batman Begins" turned out, I sometimes wonder how that movie version of "Year One" would have turned out.
