The Predator was very socially and politically charged on its own. That was the genius of Cube, Death Certificate was almost prophesy to the riots before Predator even came out. He knew the pulse of his evironment and still does, just a shame he does not revisit it more often.well, Paris is working on a new album

Paris does not "wait" on moments or dates to do political records. Especially in 2010, there are plenty opportunies and topics out there to tackle and it seems like less and less artists want to do it. Oh well.

I am looking for Guerrilla Funk Paris or Sonic Jihad at least.
Cube's music was also a lot better when he wasn't having as much fun
Can Ice Cube recover from this fiasco of an album? He wrote this album like it was one of his recent clumsy comedy movies. As for the beats, talk about cheap.Making embarassing movies and now embarrassing albums, his audience in humilation has left him in droves.Next we hear from him in music will proabaly be rapping those recent terrible hooks of his on WC's Barricuda album. The thing is, him, his ego and his yes-men dont understand how wack his skills on the mic-tip and ear for beats has become. His rapping sons? He may as well let his wife, uncles and aunties all get on the mic.He promised a return to incredible classic west coast hip-hop shit for our speakers with this record, but gave us a frisbee instead.Maybe he's just not up to it no more but damn that jherri curled Cube used to be the best.
this is exactly why Dre won't pick up the phone on these rappers no more. All that rappers wanna do is have fun.Dre understand that you got to WORK to make some hot ass tracks. Rappers need to learn that. Now I don't blame cube of shit, because he has earned his way to have a little fun. But all I wanna say, is that the BET 2010 Cypher of Ice Cube was his hottest shit in 3 years. THAT was fun.
I wish he didn't have fun. This albums is a discrace to his collection...
this is exactly why crap music is tolerated. If a rapper releases a wack album which is not as wack as the rest of the wack shit out, he's considered to have released a classic.
