I used to love e-40, even though some tracks were unconventional at times, but at overall a good artist. But since the last five years or so I really feel he's been creating a trademark image for himself to have something to rap about.
Every album seems less relevant for me.
2006 Ghetto Report Card -> was nice, it had some major bangers and timed exactly right (with the whole Bay getting really known with the Hyphy)
2008 Ball Street Journal   -> was a bit of the same, had some nice tracks but for an album with 19 tracks and 6 or 7 hot ones, it wasn't enough for mee to listen to whole thing. STILL, for 2008, shit was good.
2010 Revenue Retrievin  -> I look at the shit as a whole. 40 Tracks and the only thing that keeps me interested are the thumping beats.

But a big reason also for me I think is that the hyphy hype has died down, and I don't wanna listen to the same bass all over again. So if he would flip his style he would get my attention again.
