But Cotchery showed mad toughness on that one. Props to him

If Stucky wasn't trying to be such a hero the Browns could have taken this one. I think, if everything stays in tact, that they should be a hell of a team next season. If they had won today they would have been just two games back.

they'd be 4-5 - still nowhere near the playoffs in the AFC   (we both know the Clowns aint beatin the Ravens or Steelers out)

The way Pit played last The Browns can beat them. Same goes for Baltimore on Thursday. I think playoffs are way out of reach now, but 5 straight wins coming up against the Jags, Panthers, Dolphins, Bills, and Bengals is a real possibility if Hillis stays healthy and Colt plays like he's been playing. And if that happens then closing out the season hosting the Steelers and Ravens would be very interesting.

Basically the Browns would have to win out from here t even have a chance and I don't see that happening. But a rookie QB and a white RB leading the way to a ring would be a sight to see.

They are primed for success right now. If they can draft an evasive speed runner and get a solid vet WR they'd be a real force. The Hillis power run works great but an outside runner added to that would make it like the 72 Dolphins. As far as who the WR should be, Boldin would have been the perfect guy for that team, but good luck getting an in division trade from the Ravens. You just need a crafty leader type to keep the other WRs in check and build confidence in a young QB, like Clatyon was for Bardford before he got hurt.

Lol  I got nothing against you at all Shallow but I strongly disagree with you on this one.

Cleveland is showing they have pride but they are still 3-6 and just traded Jerome Harrison to the Eagles for Mike freakin Bell

Harrison should have been starting over Hillis to be quite honest

How can anyone argue against Hillis starting, after the fact? At the beginning of the season I''d have started Harrison as well, but after the last few weeks? The last 4 weeks weeks Hillis has been the best Peyton in the NFL. And when you're the best Peyton in the NFL you're the best player in the NFL. Numbers aside, I've been watching the guy and his yards after contact are ridiculous. When you can make a team commit to defending the up the middle run you open up so much of the rest of the field. It's better than stretching the defense with a great WR. Right now he looks like the white Jim Brown. The only question is can he keep it up. And I don't know the answer to that. Odds are in favour of a beaten down Hillis losing a step in the next couple years or sooner, but we'll see.

Hillis fumbled against the Patriots twice if I recall

then he goes and fumbles this week against the Jets

didn't even hear his name in the 2nd half

You're just being stupid. AP fumbled a lot in his huge year too. Bottom line is they lose to the Pats with Harrison, so Hillis starting was the right call.
