He's done some nice beats, but then most beatmakers have made a handful of nice beats at some point
To me, he's a solid beatmaker, but he sounds a bit sloppy sometimes, he's not raw like a Premo or Pete Rock, and he's not crisp and loud like a Dr Dre

Also he is pretty bad as rapper, no flow or rhythms, he just speaks over the track

Haha, I'm liking that answer.  I've listened to a few tracks so far and right-off the bat I can't agree with you.  You are exaggerating big time.  The first song/intro was good, not great.  Kush blows that outta the water.  2nd one, Gorgeous, is awesome though... I'm really diggin it.  POWER is good too, not phenomenal though.

One thing I find about Kanye is he thinks he's the rap Mozart or something.  He always lets his beats drag-on for about 30 secs to a minute with no real change or anything.  Same shit, just plodding away.  Arrogance to me.  At least add a new melody or something.  He does that way too much.  Beats aren't interesting enough ma, you gotta hit the fade button.

For example, see DJ Quik G-shit and then in comparison to Kush watch The Next Episode video and Dre throws in this amazing new beat hyping yup Up in Smoke Tour.  That's what you gotta do...
