I say Dollaz & sense is the sickest diss ever made IMO. He destroys MC Eiht top to bottom lyrically, unlike Hit Em Up, where the only potent disses were the threats and the "fuck you"s. Hit Em Up wasn't a diss song, it was just a whole bunch of threats made over a beat

"you claim to be a player, but i fucked your wife" isn't a diss? i don't see how i you can say this isn't a diss song. however it's not like pac blew peoples minds with his wordplay or anything like that. it is a lot more than just a whole bunch of threats made over a beat. pac and the outlawz drop several verses before pac goes on that rapmpage at the end. but you can't deny that when you heard this song you knew that pac was just a little upset. he loses his fuckin mind on this song. i guess i do see what you're sayin but pacs emotion in the song is still crazy. peace

agreed... the guy loses his mind on the track. If we're talkin about the emotion put in the track, 2Pac wins easily, but DJ Quik's diss was just vile. He exposed the true bitch in MC Eiht, and that's what a diss track really is, to humiliate your rival. Whereas 2Pac didn't really humiliate B.I.G., Puffy, etc., he threatened the shit out of them.

Let me just put it this way... if you define a diss track as a form of striking fear in your rival's heart, scaring em shitless, Hit Em Up is definitely your pick for best diss track ever. As I mentioned above, I define a diss track as a form of humiliating your rival, and ruining their credibility, which Quik performs to a tee, hands down.

Real Muthafuckin Gz smashes on Hit Em Up easily...it was ten times more g'd up...it was much more personal...considering pac didnt know 90% of the people he dissed...plus that was real beef...not some studio thug shit threat shit...Ruthless and Deathrow actually scrapped...Pac never even confronted any of his "enemies"....Quik and Eiht was a real beef....real tracks with REAL emotions...pac had fake emotions thrown in there...he even said it was all for sales...meanin its all for show...WACK!

I'm with S.G.V on this one... Eazy E's shit was way more personal. You fools don't want to admit it when even 2pac himself tells you in his interviews that it was all business. They would ask Biggie why tha beef started... and he would alwayz answer sayin that it was a surprise to him. There wasn't really no beef.


Jerome... Most of tha stuff you're talking about is stuff that happened after Hit Em Up. So Hit Em Up was when 2pac first tripped. He mentioned that "Fucked Your Wife" thing but to this day.. we're actin like it's fact. It could have been just some other "I Fucked Your Bitch" diss line... She never admitted to it.


I agree with S.G.V... he got way over his head... started thinking he was Super Thug with Suge behind him... He wasn't claimin bangin till after he got with tha Row.
