Thank God you left the Colts out. The Saints haven't shown me all that much yet though. Same goes for the Chargers. Eagles, Bears and Packers are all way better than SD, and I might even have them above NE, and Pit.

And if KC, and it's not a small if, revenge beat downs the Broncos and then can 2-0 against the Chargers then the Bolts go and the Chiefs make the top ten. They smashed a very good Seattle in Seattle today and everything seems to be clicking with that team on offense and defense. Now they just need their special teams back in the fold and they'll be dangerous. I think the winner of the West will come out of that SD/KC game because both have possible wins for the rest of the season.

The problem is I don't think KC can go into any of the bye week teams and win, except NE. But I can't seem then winning in New York, Pit, or Baltimore.

Yes they can. I'm not saying they will, but Romeo Crennel and Charlie Wies have prepared their whole decade around being able to beat a Bill Bellicheck team. And together against Bill they can win.

Jets & Pats play for #1 this weekend.

But since the Jets have already beaten them this year, Jets get #1 right now. 8)

ugh eagles, if asante samuels plays, they win, if vick doesnt throw that red zone pick, they would likely have won as well, after that huge 10-14 pt swing, and momentum change, everything just came crashing down, cutler was looking like payton manning out there against an inexperienced secondary, and forte runs 117, a LOT of holes in eagles defense, and the offense has shown now, 2 weeks in a row, that against a GOOD defense, vick and the high powered offense aren't so high powered, (sidebar: that vick pass to celek was incredible (nice catch too) i mean, i dont know how he got it in there, nuts)

shallow you called the home field (and it's importance overall) for the atlanta/gb game, and now it's most likely that atlanta will have the best record in the nfc, making them VERY difficult to beat in the palyoffs [all these eagles fans annoying me, that yea we beat atlanta, but that dont mean shit, cause they way they are playing now, is nuts].

damn payton, he was getting no protection, i felt bad for him, the first two picks you cant really blame it on him, i cant remember the 3rd, but i think that was was his fault, i think with that win SD will come back and win that division.

The third pick was the BS one. It was clearly pass interference on Wayne and the hold and thrust was what actually lead to the DB being able to get the ball. I think of the 4 the only one that I really blamed Manning for was the first one. I know he was hit but he should know better than to think he has WRs that fight for their spot.

And can people stop bragging about Wayne finally. He may be the best #2 WR of the last ten years, but that's all he is, a #2. And in an offense like the Colts have they need a true #1. Add a real #1 guy to that team and all of a sudden everything changes. Just one guy that will fight for their spot and not just expect the ball to be there or give up. Garcon can't finish routes, Reggie's too often too scared of getting hit, either by the defense or the ground. Bolden was the pick up they needed and he would have been the difference in at least 3 of these losses. If they fall to 9-7 or worse I can only imagine what Irsay is going to say to Peyton to keep him. Because I wouldn't even bother trying as an owner.

I'm actually glad it happened. I'm sick of hearing how the NFL goes out of it's way to protect Manning. As long as Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers are even in the discussion with Manning the NFL is insulting him. I'll allow Vick for now, because at least I know he has the over all talent to keep plays alive and that would work in Indy. Brady and Rivers would get absolutely wrecked playing in Indy with that offensive line. Ben would be able to make plays in Indy too, but it'd be hard with out a guy like Ward to fight for his spot.

agreed

colts g ot screwed

but as Shallow pointed out it's just proof that  the NFL is not on manning's nuts

now Tom Brady on the other hand...all he has to go is cry for a flag and BAM they throw one  (lol im sure every QB has done this at one point but Brady got called out by Rodney Harrison for it)

The difference between the two and the only thing I will say Brady is better at, a lot better, than Manning is selling the game to the outside market. Manning is the biggest star inside the football community; the pop warner kids and parents, the high school players, the Sunday watch-a-thon guys, and the fat guys in Chicago that sit around bars saying "Da Baressss".

Tom Brady is like Joe DiMaggio. Plenty of women and yuppie type dweebs that don't really watch football sit around saying "omg he's so hot" or "dude, Tom Brady is awesome!". It sounds silly to the Football crowd but the NFL is a business and a guy like Brady helps with the image. If Mike Vick left his pregnant girlfiend for a supermodel, believe me we'd all hear about it every few weeks. He really is the Joe Namath of the modern era, not the Joe Montana. And if Broadway Joe had the Charlie Wies offense of dink and dunk he'd have the exact same numbers and rings as Brady playing for the Pats. But like Joe, if you take Brady away from a cushy machine like offense and make him make throws all day he'll get more INTs than TDs.

all brady aside though, you can't deny Patriots playing some great football, i really can't wait for the monday night football game, and even if they lose to the jets, i still wont count them out for the superbowl, the 3 wins against one team is HARD, even with the home field advantage.

I've always had the greatest respect for that team. Remember I was the one that predicted 11-5 the second Brady got hurt in 08. This is a very well prepared and well coached team that always stands a solid chance at a Superbowl, but they better hope they get the 1 or 2 seed, because if they get the Wildcard and have to play the first playoff game on the road in either SD, KC, or Indy they'll have a hard time. They'll eat Jacksonville alive though. Garrard isn't all that good and against a Bill Bellicheck scheme he'll get killed.

If the Pats win the East then the only teams that can, (and it'll be iffy), beat them are Jets, the Steelers, the Ravens or themselves.
