If the Saints play the Eagles it'll be in Philly, so no way are the Saints ahead of Philly in a cold weather game. And sorry, but you're Jets look like the bottom of the barrel as far as playoff teams go. You didn't even mention the Packers who were a few bad snaps away from beating you're #1 Pats, with the back up QB.

that's because the PAtriots have no secondary and the Pack matched up against them well regardless of who was at QB.  with that said, they still lost because of something that was their fault.

unlike the Bears, who got two lucky ref calls

Sorry, but they win that game if Rodgers plays. Yeah, I'm the don't put it all on the QB guy on this forum, but when one QB is a top 5 guy on the bench and the other is on his first start, and you still just barely lose, you deserve a spot over the Jets.

Brady would die in Green Bay, while Rodgers would more than excel in NE.

Besides speculation, may I see some fact behind this erroneous statement?

Facts, under constant pressure with little run game and finesse passes required Brady has historically struggled. I know it's unpopular to think he can't make the throws, but he can't make the throws. Fade routes and over 15 yard needle threaders are outside of Brady's talents, and they are a big part of the McCarthy offense. It was built around Favre's abilities, and Rodgers was chosen because he showed he could do it too. Brady couldn't beat Brian Griese for a starting job the first two years, and just barely beat out an MLB 3rd basemen for the next two years, because he couldn't make those throws. These are facts. Stats don't show what the throws were. They just show the stats. In the first game of the season last year Denver beat the Bengals because of an 87 yard TD pass from Kyle Orton to Brandon Stokely. Now look at the fucking replay and tell me why Orton should get anything added to his stat sheet. They should have a "dropped INT" stat for QBs.

^What makes you think that if he went to Green Bay they would make him run McCarthy's offense? Brady would sit down with his coaches, like they all do, & tell them what plays he comfortable running with. If we're going to play fantasy island over here, we don't have to make it beyond unrealistic. They would run those plays in practice & maybe two pre-season games & realize it doesn't work & scrap it.

Let's be honest for once, you use to say "He won rings because he had the best defense, a good run game & the best line"; that was nearly 10 years ago. Now he has an average defense, statistically they are below average, most certainly worse than the ring years, he a solid, but nothing special run game & his offensive line is aging, still pretty damn good, but isn't as good as it was 7-8 years ago. & yet somehow he's putting up BETTER numbers with less help. That physically makes no sense.

I get it, you're mad he gets the shine & doesn't have to do as much as Peyton Manning. But if we're going to play fantasy world where the QB has to play the system of the coaches, Bill is running the same offense & if he had Peyton, he would make him run the same plays & you'd be here shitting on Peyton.

Can I admit Tom Brady wouldn't have as great the numbers if he was somewhere else? Of course. But do I think he'd be jobless within three weeks? No, he'd still play well. But at the end of the day he isn't anywhere else & he'll continue to put up the great numbers & numbers is what defines sports in this World.

Well IF Vick didn't have legs & IF Brees didn't have a left arm & IF Big Ben got convicted for rape, he'd be the second best QB in the league, in my opinion.

But on a serious note, I think Rodgers could be the 3rd best. Mobile QBs like Vick don't win Superbowls, so I'd rather have Rodgers over him & I think he's certainly better then Ben & I'd say it's a close coin flip between him & Drew, but Rodgers has more up in his future.

Don't sleep on Phillip Rivers though.

EDIT: Oh & Matt Ryan.

while I'll admit he's sucked ass in certain Philadelphia related games this year (and a few other games), Eli Manning has something that Rodgers/Rivers/Ryan may never have so you can't leave him out of the discussion either.  it's a shame the Giants most likel will miss the playoffs (unless GB loses and NYG win)

i hate the Bears, i hope they win next week though

The NFC is completely up for grabs. I think any of those teams cant beat any of the others. I think the Packers will beat the Bears next week and get in. It likely could set up a rematch the following week in the wildcard game. For some reason I still cant take the Bears seriously though.

The AFC, I pretty much feel like its the Pats and everyone else right. Pittsburgh or Baltimore could MAYBE go in there and beat them...but its gonne be tough. I dont see the Colts doing it this year, and I think the Jets might get bounced out in the wildcard game.

The Packers don't have the personnel or the coaches to run the Patriots system. he o-line isn't as good. There is no Wes Welker to squeeze in short in the middle plays, or a Ron Gronkowsky type to block for screens and runs. Brady doesn't have say on what plays are called or what the offense should be like. McCarthty has his own system it needs a gunslinger to work right. Why would McCarthy change his whole style and trade for completely different players to accommodate Brady? You could argue that wit the current Packers D the NE style offense would be ideal for a Superbowl team, but you'd need Wies or McDaniels to set it up. But then why spend money on Brady when Kyle Orton can give you the same numbers? Orton and McDaniels playing wit that Packers D would be ridiculous.

My point is that QBs for the Erhardt-Perkins style offense are a dime a dozen. Finding guys to set it up is the tricky part. Aaron Rodgers is a special talent. Tom Brady is not.
