what do you mean "making diss tracks to friends"? X and Tha Liks  are two separate entities now. it's apparent that X no longer values their friendship, since they can't do for him what Dre and Em can do, so he jumped ship. and according to J-Ro, he also dissed King Tee. now you tell me who's dissin his "friends".
and don't forget, this is all coming from the same man that made "Paparazzi". I'm not gonna repeat the chorus cause you know it, but you tell me... this guy, who made such a strong statement in that song, contradicts himself by doing just that, does he really deserve any repsect (all beefs aside)? X jumped ship from Liks to Snoop to Dre, with Dre obviously being the finish line. Now he could cross off the others, and do his thing with the doctor.

Hmmmmmmm, I'd expected it to be a little more than this..
He didn't really say much more than that he sold out, in the game for the money and the fame.. get yo walk on to this..
He used Xzibits metaphors pretty clever, but I won't say that this is unbeatable at all.
The beat was hard, but way too simple..
The track was 2 minutes and pretty simple, so it looked to me as an invitation to let the disses begin.


For a good reason, this reminds me of "Royce vs. Eminem", "Jaz-O vs. Jay Z", "Tragedy vs. Noreaga", "Jayo vs. Snoop" & "Mobb Deep vs. Bars and Hooks" etc.

In all of this cases, one of the sides have blewn up or is already big.
Then the other part (the one that isn't famous & rich) starts dissing.
In all of these cases, it's very easy to sound jealous, and when when you start dissing a person that is more famous & richer than you, I think it's almost impossible to NOT sound jealous.

See....there is a fine line between jealousy, and sellin out. I can tell that Xzibit is in a situation that is almost like high school where the "cool kids" decided to take somebody new in their clique, and the new kids friends weren't mad at that, but mad because the kid acted like he didn't know them, just so he could be "cool." As lame as that sounds, this is basically the situation. Xzibit proved he sold out, not just from stoppin communication with Tha Liks, but listen to his album....he doesn't speak about half the shit he used to. Also, how the fuck does he talk about gangbangin bein negative before Restless, but then he has "Get yo walk on" where he is cripwalkin, and has a sign sayin "This is not a dance" as if he is really bangin?? Tell me who's fake. And the remix talkin bout "Now we got the whole planet tryna walk this way" WHEN DID HE BANG? Not unless he just got put on.

I personnally think both sides fucked up on this, and poor communications made it worse. I think it is possible that X did belittle tha liks when they were around Dre, but they also said that he showed them no love when he blew up, so is Restless (he was at his biggest on the cusp of its release) not full with likwit guests, did X not have them in his videos, did he not appear on tha liks album? J-Ro (or Tash) said in one interview that he dissed fredwreck by the way he treated him, didn't he have fredwreck as his tour DJ while promoting Restless and get him to score his DVD, can someone explain how thats dissing him? He also agreed to executive produce Phil Da Agony's album to make it better and to give him more press attention. They say he only cares about making money now, so why did he bring Ras Kass on tour with him as he has sold about the same as tha liks which isn't gonna make xzibit more popular, this year he brought Krondon (to the UK) who has about a quarter of the number of fans of Tha Liks so he clearly does not give a fuck about how many records a group or person has sold, so this idea that he stopped talking to them because they weren't big enough is clearly bullshit.
I think Tha Liks were a bit pissed as X's fame didn't strecth to them becoming big, and due to them not being safe to him he decided to hang around other people. I just hope they work it out before too many years pass by so they can get back together.

^^on the dot...ur right in every way...i am a zibit fan and after 40 dayz, 40 nightz he was in my top 5...but the moment he did restless that was it..he traded in e-swift for dre...he traded in the liks for the eastsidaz...etc...he left his roots behind...he acted like he was too big for them...kinda like he was makin it seem dre made him who he is...to me dre and the dpg ruined xzibit...pussy pop, b-please, whats the difference and a few other tracks were really the only xzibit/dre/dpg collabs that were good...theres a few other but none that compare to the liks...when i get home tonite ima bump this shit...im glad j-ro is gettin at xzibit...maybe itll deflate his head....

I dont understand why everyone is going he left liks for eastsidaz and e-swift for dre and shit.  If X has already made an album using tha liks and e-swift then surly for X's career's sake and X's fans sake he had to go to dre and shit.  I dont know about anybody else but I would want to experiment and experience different producers and talents on my albums, I wouldent keep using the same peeps on every album I made, cos people would get fed up of them.
