Talking about Melo in LA.
From what I heard on ESPN, they were going to offer Artest, but Denver would never agree to that.So they think if it happens, it will be Odom & Bynum to Denver for Melo. Then the though process behind that is that they will be unfuckablewith as long as Kobe is still great, then as he slowly fades away, Melo will step up & build his own Laker dynasty. So in a sense, the Lakers don't have to fall off the map when Kobe leaves.Doubt it happens though.
i laugh at all the laker fans panicking, you guys must not have been following the lakeshow for very long...we are playing horrible ball, as we always do around this time of year, but it still took a mcdyess tip-in for the top in the league team to beat us. we're still 3rd in the west and still going to beast when the playoffs near. don't get me wrong, it is frustrating to see, but who actually thinks we're playing at our highest level?

I was reading comments on espn message boards & those ingrates want Gasol traded now even though he's the reason they got to the finals 3 years in a row. When you're defending champions, you're gonna get tougher play from everyone else. They 4got how Kobe acted when the Lakers would get beat in the 1st round. And of course the occasional opponents should give the Lakers their star player for Lakers garbage players. Its obvious if the Thuggets traded marshmelo to the Lakers, they'd lose lots of fans. And what the hell is the matter with Maverick fans last week? When sportsnation showed the Spurs last second win over the Lakers in Dallas, the fans booed. I thought Maverick fans hated the Lakers the most, Spurs 2nd most.
everybody need to realize we are just coming off 3 NBA Finals in a row ... it is not easy to do ... only the Celtics and Lakers made it four times in a row and you have to get back to the 80es to see that ... who knows what will happen coming playoffs time ... right now I dont know , Im not either confident or negative ... as of now I think we will go to the WCF against SAS , imo we are a better team than the Spurs playoffs style i.e halfcourt game but with SAS having HCA , playing very good b-ball and almost having a injury free season , it is very possible we will lose this series.Even if we get to the Finals , I dont see us beating Boston without HCA , as of now and as much as I hate to say it , the Celtics look like the NBA champs

Go to three Final Fours in a row, that's a sick accomplishment. Not even make the Finals, just the semi's. The NBA is a weak league. Back in the day it seemed the Lakers & Celtics were there every single year, then in the 90's Jordan was there for more then half the entire decade lol, then the Lakers were back for 3 years, then the Pistons & Spurs ran shit, now it's the Lakers & Celtics again. Those two have like a year or two left & then the Heat with likely a few more small additions will be the team to beat for the next six-seven-eight years.
