95 contributed on Dogg Food.

No he didn't

Dogg Pound  album was good but SOTSOMC (which was mostly recorded in 95) beat wise shits on it.

No it doesn't. Daz in 95 >> Yella. Str8 Off the Streetz is all over the place beat-wise. Not to mention that Yella only produced half of it.

Dre released compilation on Aftermath in 96

Aftermath album >>> One Mo Nigga ta Go. So what does this say? Even Dre's worst work >>> Yella's best. Cmon man....Yella showed he had talent after Dre left but saying he's better than Dre is ludicrous.
production on str8 off tha streetz is varied and gangsta at the same time. daz in 95 was the shit but yella by that time was a legend (n.w.a.). and by the way one mo nigga ta go is a west coast classic. that aftermath comp had a few weak artists on it but it had some hot shit on it.

Just 4 tha record, ``cant c me``, ``whats my name``, and ``dre day`` all share tha same bassline, i think ``doggystyle`` is very similar too.  And ``the root of evil`` and ``california love`` have tha same bassline too, tha only difference is added sounds.  And that Aftermath compilation was all recorded in 96 but mainly by other beatmakers, but Im not taking sides becuz they were all in their primes then and im a fan of all of that shit.  Its just out of technicality Yella wins becuz everybody else was doing tha ``beat making`` at Death Row during that time while Yella was doing it all.  Just like to tha OG Version of ``natural born killaz`` to see what im saying and then compare that with tha released version.

And If its hard to understand i like Yellas best work better than Dres best work

Yet you refused to compare One Mo Nigga to Go to The Chronic.

hahaha if you dont get it- that means to me OMNTG is better than Chronic
and Its On Dr.Dre 187um Killa EP (which had 2 Yella produced tracks) eats Chronic & Doggystyle alive.
I know that those Death Row releases had better commercial impact than anythin that came out from Yella or Ruthless after Dre left but i just dont feel it.

This is pointless to oppose Dre's work on RUthless to Yella's since they were working together. It's like opposing Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. It makes no sense. One thing is for sure though, Yella is a legend. He has not impacted the industry like Dre did but music-wise, he is as creative and as talented as Dre when it comes to creating tracks. And come on, One More Nigga To Go is better than Aftermath without a doubt. On the one hand, you have a westcoast classic, on the other hand you have a musical experiment which flopped

Yella only produced a few tracks on It's On Dr Dre 187 Um Killa, SOTSOMC and Creepin On A Come Up but Dre, as someone mentioned it, didn't produce much after Doggystyle either. Yella's tracks were all amazing productions with live instruments and dope compositions.

So instead of opposing them, I'll just say that they were both 2 great producers and that people were blessed to witness a musical era were mainstream rap was equated with quality music.

I don't agree when bigpimpin20 says that Death Row releases had better commercial impact than Ruthless ones... It's On Dr Dre 187 um Killa sold as much as Doggystyle (4 million), and Bone Thugs' first three projects sold overall 10 million. If it weren't for 2pac, Ruthless would have to this day sold more records than Death Row.

Straight Off Tha Streetz Of Muthaphukkin' Compton wasn't even hardly finished.  It was supposed to be a double/triple album before Eazy passed.

If you really feel that way then you should have said that from the beginning. You've been dodging the comparison like a mothafucka and bringing up Dre's worst work instead. That said, lol I'd have to disagree.

Foe the love of money can hold its own against any of dre's best beats. I know oh my god its blashemy to act like dre isnt always the best in every way how could anyone not think dre only puts out solid gold constantly that no other producer could even hope to compare to???

Moe cheese or whatever its called is sick as fuck too. So ahead of its time that beat. Most stuff from 91 sounds dated compared to stuff from like 93 on but not it.

The original version by those dudes is trash...Bone probably heard it back in Cleveland, wrote a better one and when they went to LA they spit over the instrumental the song they wrote to it.
My sister wants to kill herself because of Bieber lossing Grammy lol

Yella is a better porn producer than he was a music producer.  Most of his beats were trash.

I don't know why they re-use and re-did. I like both of them but, Bone killed it with theirs with Eazy. I think one thing could have play a part of it was tha fact that Jewell was rollin' with Dr. Dre and was on Death Row. The could have removed her vocals and put some else on there but, they didn't. I didn't pay attention that Jewell on the song. Jewell comes with it! I love her work with Death Row and Ruthless. She was under Dr. Dre, so u can't go wrong with that.
